Hey everyone, my name is Saejah I am the owner of Allure Medical Spa and Institute. I also am the founder of the “Change Your Life” program which is dedicated to helping individuals by removing tattoos for those who cannot find employment due to visible tattoos holding them back. When i am not working i enjoy traveling and spending time with my daughter and family.

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I come from a large family based out of Ohio. My family is full of talented musicians, so creativity is in my genes. They all taught me that hard work paves the road to accomplishing your dreams, no matter how big or small.

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I have always been fascinated with the beauty industry. I started my career as a professionally trained makeup artist and shortly after, I became an aesthetician. Cosmetic technology advanced almost as quickly as my curiosity and ambition. Which led me to be one of the first 1,000 to be licensed through the state and board of radiology as a laser technologist. After working for several local doctors, I decided to open Allure medical almost seven years ago. In 2020, I expanded and opened Allure Institute of Laser and Medical Esthetics.

Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
Like a true southern girl, I like a good steak. And like a true tucsonan I like supporting other local businesses. Charro steak is one of my all-time favorites. I also love hidden gems like 47 Scott.

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
I have lived and worked in Tucson for 20 years.

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
Todd Bisbocci. His story of going from cashier to owner of several Taco bell locations is inspiring for all. Hard work does pay off and he is a great example of that.

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
There are several places in the world I want to experience but Bora bora is on the top of that list. It looks so beautiful and relaxing. I can’t wait to get there someday.

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
The Notebook it is such a beautiful story.

Q: What advice would you give to people?
Be a better version of yourself each and every day and Always believe in yourself.

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
Something at the top of my bucket list

Q: What is your go to band when you can’t decide what to listen to?
Lincoln Park never fails me

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
Mamas Pizza

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
I would have to choose Ray Flores, he is a longtime friend and former employer. Ray is and has always been extremely supportive of me and always has so many amazing ideas for business and marketing. Ray is a great community leader and gives the best advice. I would choose Charro Vida because it never disappoints.

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
Tucson is a strong community and I love how everyone comes together and supports one another.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
I have a lot of goals and I am dedicated and determined to achieve them all, I see myself expanding my business and opening more locations.

Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I grew up in a family of musicians; I learned to play the guitar and piano and sing starting at age 3.

Q: What is the most beautiful place you have ever been?
Sedona, its beautiful and relaxing

Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
October is my favorite month the weather is perfect. My favorite holiday is Christmas. I love spending the holidays with my family. The best single calendar day is Christmas Day. The magic of Christmas morning has always been special to me.

Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
A great meal. glass of wine and a good conversation

Q: Who inspires you to be better?
My Mother inspires me the most. She has a heart of gold and is always supportive of everything I do

Q: What is one or two of your favorite smells?
I love the smell of vanilla. A good perfume can always be very magical
