I am a native Tucsonan who loves everything about this city! I am a reluctant runner, an avid reader, 90% Vegan, work full time, and I am a Mom and a wife. In my spare time I run a nonprofit where we put people with disabilities in road races. I have run 2 half marathons pushing my son in his specialized wheelchair.
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
My husband, Steve, and I have been married for 24 years. We are actually high school sweethearts, which is either the best or worse thing about us – you decide! My son, Lucas, is 14 and was born with cerebral palsy. My daughter, Emerson, is 9 and completely full of life and keeps us on our toes. We recently added a new family member, Maggie, who is a pit bull rescue.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I have had the honor and pleasure to be in the Real Estate and Title Industry for the past 17 years. My greatest strength is the ability to help Agents and Loan Officers through the process of building a profitable business. Through learning the art of lead generation, using the latest technology, justifying their worth and helping them create and use systems in their business.
Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
I absolutely adore King Fisher. It is hands down, my favorite restaurant. When I need to stay closer to my home, we always choose Rubio’s. Emerson says it is her favorite place to eat!

Steve Ochoa is the most interesting person. He can remember every person’s name after only one introduction. He is simply amazing too.
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
I would love to take my kids to Disney World for a week. I never thought Lucas would be up to spend that much time outside, but since his spinal fusion surgery in 2018, he can handle longer periods of time in his wheelchair.

I have too many to list, but my favorite genre is murder and suspense!

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
I would love to have lunch with Gabby Giffords. I am in awe of her strength, resilience, and desire to keep fighting for gun restrictions. Beaut Burger at the MSA annex would be the ideal location for our lunch.
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
My favorite thing about Tucson is the one degree of separation that everyone seems to have here.
