Chris and Rose Faitsch

Chris is from Guilford, CT and I grew up right here in central Tucson. We have seen how much Tucson has blossomed in the last 20 years. We own multiple businesses in the Old Pueblo and hope to always call Tucson our home.

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
We have two lovely girls and a super cute short legged Jack Russell named Wolfie!

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
We own Old Pueblo Moving & Warehouse and are Managing Partners in Iron John’s Brewing Company.
Iron John’s Brewing recently merged with Monkey Burger. We recently completed a bungalow project (18th Street Bungalows) in Armory Park.
Every day there’s something new to do and learn!

Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
Of course Monkey Burger and another fave, Reilly’s

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
Chris & I has lived/worked here for 30 years.

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
The most interesting…..wow that’s hard to say. Tucson has some of the most extraordinary people.

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
Croatia (sailboat tour)

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
The Aviator & Mad Men

Q: What advice would you give to people?
Be kind! See the good in life! Laugh a lot! Persevere!

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
Congress taproom

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
Matthew McConaughey, Alright…alright….alright lunch at Monkey Burger (soon to be Iron John’s Brewery)

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
Everyone is from somewhere else!

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Traveling around the world!

Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
Our life motto is “So you’re telling me there’s a chance”.

Q: What is the most beautiful place you have ever been?
Capri

Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
October, Halloween, April 25th not too hot, not too cold.

Q: Who inspires you to be better?
100% without a doubt my husband Chris!

Q: What is one or two of your favorite smells?
The desert after a monsoon rain ????
